Abstract:
It has been observed that when subjected to an active compost environment, certain plant growth promoting characteristics of biochar can be improved. A simple and natural method has been developed in which the conditions of an active compost environment are induced upon biochar with minimal inputs, resulting in a mostly pure, yet improved biochar product. Several years of refinement and mistakes will be discussed.
