Biochar for Soil Health: Working with the USDA-NRCS on Biochar

Biochar has tremendous potential to build soil health on farms when used as a soil amendment.  Learn how the USDA-NRCS determines when and where biochar is needed, if amendments meet our standards and specifications, and how post-treatment assessments are made.  We’ll also discuss how economic information can be provided for the purpose of creating and updating payment scenarios and payment schedules.
